BRAUN Maschinenfabrik has received another order from ArcelorMittal Warszawa SP. Z o.o., a reputed producer of carbon and special long steel products. ArcelorMittal Warszawa SP. Z o.o. has awarded BRAUN with the delivery of one cut-off machine type TS12F including all auxiliary equipment. BRAUN Maschinenfabrik GmbH will supply the cut-off machine type TS12F including all hydraulic components, the electrical equipment as well as the entire automation system. Additionally, the entire material handling and transport facilities are supplied by BRAUN Maschinenfabrik too. This equipment serves as an extension to increase the throughput performance of the rolling line of ArcelorMittal Warszawa SP. Z o.o. The rolling line is already equipped with one structurally identical abrasive cut-off machine type TS12F, which was supplied by BRAUN in 2011. With the upgraded SBQ bar mill, in which the BRAUN abrasive cut-off machine and associated equipment will be installed, rolled special steel products with diameters between 20 to 105 mm are to be cut into final length. The BRAUN equipment will be delivered in October 2022. Commissioning and final acceptance are scheduled for the first quarter of 2023.
