Acciaierie Valbruna S.p.a., a private owned Italian producer of stainless steel and special alloy steel issued to BRAUN Maschinenfabrik GmbH the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for a high-performance chop-stroke dry traverse abrasive cut-off machine with associated equipment, type TS 16 W at its Bolzano works.       
The Valbruna Group has gathered at several of their locations excellent experience with BRAUN machines within the last years.

The new high-performance abrasive cut-off machine serves an existing forging line by replacing a shear for intermediate hot-cutting of billets and blooms before the next process steps. Acciaierie Valbruna responds with this investment to the increasing quality requirements from their customers. BRAUN’s high-performance abrasive cut-off machine features outstanding quality of the cut ends, reliability in continuous operation and high throughput capacity.

The high-performance abrasive cut-off machine and the required handling equipment have been manufactured and extensively tested at BRAUN headquarters in Vöcklabruck, Austria before its delivery. Thus, installation was possible within a truly short standstill of the forging line.           
After commissioning and performance test of the installed cutting facility fully meets the requirements of the customer to the highest level of satisfaction.
