BRAUN Maschinenfabrik GmbH and its Chinese subsidiary, BRAUN Machine Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd., have jointly received another order from a Chinese SBQ producer.

FUSHUN SPECIAL STEEL Co., Ltd. has awarded BRAUN with the delivery of the cut-off machine and auxiliary equipment for the modernization of the existing small bar mill in FUSHUN, Liaoning Province, PR China.

This equipment serves as a replacement for a competitor's abrasive cut-off machine in the small Bar Mill.

BRAUN Maschinenfabrik GmbH supplies the abrasive cut-off machine type TS12F with all hydraulic components, electrical equipment and the automation system. BRAUN Machine Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd.) supplies the entire material handling and transport facilities.

All the associated engineering, project management and the installation and commissioning supervisory services are carried out by BRAUN's headquarters staff from Vöcklabruck, Austria.

With the upgraded SBQ bar mill, in which the BRAUN abrasive cut-off machine and associated equipment will be installed, up to 600,000 t per year of rolled products with diameters between 12 to 92 mm are to be cut into final length.     
The BRAUN equipment will be delivered in December 2021. Commissioning and final acceptance are scheduled for the second quarter of 2022.
