The BRAUN cold cutting system is successfully used for decommissioning projects time and time again. Currently Reactor cores are currently being decommissioned in Nekarwestheim and Philippsbung using BRAUN cutting technology. We are currently focusing on the further development of the tools in order to make the process even more efficient. Designed by BRAUN, the specially coated saw blades increase the tool life and thus decrease the processing costs.
