Robot controlled processing units for prefabricated brick walls were developed for a notable brickwork supplier. BRAUN delivered four models which were developed for the creation of window cut-outs, reveals, slits for cable conduits, cavity sockets, and openings. Each model is equipped with different tools, thus chainsaws are used for reveals and corner cut outs, while larger openings and conduit slits are manufactured with a shaving module. Tools can be switched automatically in a tool changer, which can considerably reduce the set-up times.
